Just read #[2]'s post. Love the idea.
Weather here is cold and nasty rn. No โ๏ธ to be seen. I did workout today though.
The only solution I saw offering recurring payments is Oak Node. https://oak-node.net/doc/trunk/README.md
Very cool, but running a node is a roadblock for 90% of people (even people who Bitcoin). Until that's *a lot* easier to do people will need some form of temporary custodial solution for small amounts of BTC to pay these kinds of recurring invoices. I don't advise anyone keep much in their custodial wallet. I don't keep more than $100 in mine.
I would love to see this. I could code it into NostrGram so when you login it checks to see if your subscription is due and pays it (assuming you have the right amount cleared in your lightning wallet budget), but it would be great if there was a solid way built-into the network to make this happen automatically.
Had to say something about this on Twitter and I'll just leave it there for people to get super pissed & argue about it. But maybe it'll make just ONE person think twice about it. And that'll be worth it.
h/t #[0] for the inspiration and getting me riled up about it ๐

Broke my rule and went to the blue dumpster fire just to read this. Bravo. ๐๐๐
๐๐ฝ๐ฆ (yeah it's a shrimp, but close enough lol)
I'm of a similar opinion. I think it's less about what foods you eat as long as they are whole and unprocessed. Whether that's meat or veggies or whatever. One thing is for sure, though, the "RDA" is absolute BS "science". It was just a bunch of doctors' opinion about what they "thought" people should have each day. It's not evidence based at all.
It really has made a difference for me too. Switching to carnivore got rid of a lot of little issues I dealt with before but was so used to I didn't actively notice. A few months after being carnivore I was like "Hey, my back doesn't hurt" or "Hey, my allergies aren't nearly as bad". That kind of thing.
That sounds great! And I agree, any routine, however small, is better than none at all.
Got another โก on the diet and exercise thread. Will redistribute shortly. But in the future anything โก after 30 minutes I'm keeping FYI ๐. Jus sayin.
I'm going to start redistributing the amount โก to any nite where I ask a feedback question to everyone who replies in the first 30 minutes.
Just did that with my question about diet and exercise. Just feels right to me.
Nice! Yoga is fantastic. I've borrowed a few stretches that really helped with my lower back. I was in a car accident with a tractor trailer when I was 20 that messed up my lower back. It got much better when I got more fit though.
Yeah but this place is 3 minutes up the road and gets him away from the electronics so I'm good ๐
Amazing how quickly change occurs when you stick to a routine, even if it's not hours long.
Bands are far better for me and my joints than lifting (I was lifting prior to x3) and have better data behind them so that's what I do now. To each their own though! Whatever works for your body is what you should do.
That's some serious activity! My son takes kung-fu during the week and loves it.

Much easier on my aging joints. Prior to using this I lifted but this is working much better for me.
Nice! ๐ช
