Violinist and teacher, building a homestead on raw land in between lessons and concerts. Fascinated by how we can develop resilience in our lives, in our families, in our communities. I'm excited about freedom tech and circular economies, and am deeply grateful for the devs and advocates who are helping build tools for a better future.

Thank you! This sometimes happens when I re-start workouts. I trigger some weird pathway. I was hoping to avoid it this time by mixing things up so much.

True, and I'm curious to see the absolute numbers. But govt and healthcare (indirectly govt) beingg among the top job creators is almost worse. We're going in a bad direction.

Wait - another screw-up?!

One of my general hopes for the future - besides bitcoin, nostr, permaculture, and babies - is that many of the oligarchs are in fact as stupid as they seem.

Checking in for days 9 and 10

My back was hurting Monday but much worse yesterday - I think I overdid something on Sunday - so day 9 was pretty much a wash but I did some gentle movement just to keep in the spirit of things.

A bit better today, but will stick to walking - about 20' done so far and about to go out for a longer walk now.

Happy workouts, everyone!

Kind of funny that even Reuters thinks it's normal to compare the dollar to bitcoin.

Good morning, Nostr friends! When you live in a tent, most of your stuff is outside. So when 40mph winds hit - and I know that's not actually that bad - your stuff goes EVERYWHERE. So we'll be spending a chunk of the day just retrieving various items that have gone flying. (We did learn some lessons from last windy day, so at least this time nothing broke!).

In between, I'll check Nostr for all of your notes and of course the hilarity that is the SEC trying to figure out how to implement two-factor authentication.

I know they're not for everyone, but the silicone cups work well (I think silicone is non-toxic?) and I used cloth pads for years. Yes, you have to wash them and that takes some getting used to - but no nasty chemicals and - once you've bought them - they're nearly free.

Thank you! it looks like I would have had to set that up beforehand but I'll dig around now and see what I can do

I think I went too low with my sats/vbyte in a transaction 😶

Are there transactions that never go through? Is my utxo stuck in mempool purgatory for ever?

Private AI with questionable ownership partnering with a govt agency... what could possibly go wrong?

So glad you all are on here right now! I'm trying to explain to my family why the SEC thing is so hilarious and no one gets it.
