When you read things do you interpret the data or wait for people to put it in different words?
SAAAAME but I get paid next week, then it can moon.
Damn, yeah the people who have benefitted from fiat inflation and monetary debasement ARE the victims.
You can also try NFC or microSD if you have an adaptor. (Might have to enable NFC in the coldcard settings first)
I am hopeful that we can but fiat money is a massive decivilizing force.
Portugal, huh? South America is nice this time of year.
Maybe I am getting confused here but I read his post as the arbitrary data being accepted as valid transactions then validated by nodes. Core accepting these as valid, correct?
I think the operative word in his note was "Trying" to be a sovereign bitcoiner. Node runners aren't all availed of the knowledge that by running default setting of the MOST popular bitcoin program, they are to accept spam.
Sure we can say "Get good scrub," or we can chastise the spammers, which way Bitcoin man?

It scans the QR to 100% but then just returns to the scan instructions view without ever adding the key. It this known? Or a just me problem 😅
Connecting as in adding the key?
If so,
-Select Keys tab → "+"
-Select COLDCARD
Add COLDCARD via QR"
- (On Coldcard Q) Select Advanced/Tools → Export Wallet → Nunchuk
- (On Coldcard Q) Press QR key
- Press Continue
- Scan QR with android phone
- Select "m/48h/0h/0h/2h (Recommended for multisig)
-Name Key
-When key is accepted, run health check
Or do you mean adding that key to a wallet?
BitBlockBoom got me too. Upside, I have plenty of inbound now 😅
Yeah, that's his point. You literally describe what "arbitrary" means to those two implementations. And arbitrary is literally when you do something by whim or impulse and not with necessity or priciple.
Writing "Nic sucks" on a dollar bill is arbitrary data that degrades the financial integrity of the bill and makes an arbitrary statement not for the purpose of a financial transaction. Writing that is leveraging the monetary value of the bill to force others to read your message. Do you see?
They haven't started printing yet, man. Everyone is looking for patterns when they need to look for causes. The price of eggs doesn't go up until people are fighting over the last carton on the shelf.
Protracted illness animosity is an evolutionary compulsion. Protect the tribe with minor illness. Protracted illness compromises the tribe. It's not logical, it's instinctual.
And for reference, I live in the mountain of West Virginia, costly raids are at their costliest, around me.
Saying you prefer (FGU) Freedom Go Up over (NGU)Number Go Up, comes off like saying you read Playboy for the articles.

No I mean, the locally created phones have no tariffs from the US.
Tariffs don't apply at the point of manufacture. Tariffs apply to imported goods at the point of import.
They did try that. They shifted imports to Vietnam and Trump added another 10% on Vietnam. I think this 34% is actually a frustrated tantrum over them being caught trying to circumvent the tariff plan.
I really don't understand this threat. If I sell a shitty $3 coffee and the premium coffee is $5 my ONLY selling point is cheap price. China's only selling point is their goods being cheap. It CERTAINLY isn't quality.
1200w UPS and a mobile hotspot backup keep my home node up 24/7
Technically not really. The loans unrepaid would go delinquent and then the bank would collapse. Government is necessary for the scheme to work because they need to be bailed out when the ponzi collapses.
Does this mean I can see who zapped me before I accept the money?
It could be wirse, you could be driving from north east WV down to Dallas, a nice little 18 hour drive. See ya there, (if we both make it).
Yeah, we know how sidechains work. I feel like this is needlessly pedantic. This like saying "The bank doesn't tell you the cash they give you, isn't actually gold!" (Prior to 1971)
The distinction between L-BTC and BTC is clear.
Oh really, what's the difference?
Hey, do you consider having cash in your wallet custodial? If not, what's the distinction from Liquid?
My bad, didn't mean to sound defensive, it was more of a veiled networking suggestion. Things exist on nostr that are akin to tor hidden services or eepsites. Maybe a relay index for these features would be useful. Might need to find a good way to compile it.
-Every zap is an undeclared taxable event
-There is unmoderated "content" that is widely sharable to nyms with no IP tracking (given a certain relay setup)
-Copyright infringement is rampant
-Unmoderated Market places on certain clients allow for a silk road 2.0 (it just generally isn't)
-Potential for whistle blowing from government sources from untraceable nyms.
I think those are plenty or rules broken, maybe your use of nostr is too white market to know.
Check channels, the low fees are making a lot of people reorg their channels. Cost-effective but annoying.
This whole seizing bitcoin overlooks the fact that violence is expensive and there is a disincentive to reveal your keys.
