It'll start slowly but the fixed income market is much larger than the crypto market.

I agree with the signal aspect. In the end it became very hard to remove the noise from the signal.

I can feel the shift in frequencies & have chosen my path.

It is the right path for me & is filled with challenges, pain as well as loads of excitement.

I see 2 broad choices to make. The first is highlighted in your image. Do you chose to raise your frequency, resolve trauma & integrate the self?

I don't care if X exists or not & acknowledge most consumers (eyeballs) are on centralised platforms. This heavily incentivises content creators to publish there.

I have far more respect for the opinions of those who publish on a permissionless protocol. They currently have little financial incentive to do so but they must see its potential.

I suspect most Bitcoiners don't understand what he's up to. I didn't really until I put some skin in his game.

His products (preferred equities) don't compete with bitcoin. They compete with yield products like bank deposits, bonds & treasuries. The TAM of this market is many trillions of dollars. The clever part is that unlike a bond, they have no maturation date, they're perpetual. MSTR doesn't need to pay them back, they just need to pay the ongoing yield component. They've removed most of the risk from the products both from their perspective & from people wanting a fiat yield.

This centralises ownership into a trusted 3rd party but it doesn't bestow any great power onto them.

Miners & node runners still control the network.

Nobody knows the future.

Nothing stops this train - they need to print & they need to print a lot.

Have you watched the MSTR Q2 earnings call? They're focusing on raising capital via their preferred options. A multi trillion dollar market for fixed income that they have very compelling products for. I see this as effectively setting a floor for Bitcoin at these prices.

I'm anticipating more sideways for Q3 with liftoff in Q4.

The slide pack is pretty boring though. Very repetitive visually.

I've noticed some slides are covering objective differences & some are the 2nd & 3rd order effects of those differences.

For example the time preference slide is talking about the effect of monetary inflation on peoples thinking & behavior.

You could use this to break the presentation up. Show the flow-on effects on the slide following the objective differences.

I find other people's obsession with gaining my agreement hard. I won't validate their victimhood or judgement. Putting a name to it has helped me to identify & respond to it better. Before that I couldn't quite pinpoint why I didn't like what they were saying.

I like the spiralling up metaphor. It helps communicate why it feels like 3 steps forward & 2 back sometimes. Higher highs & higher lows but always spiralling up.

Bitcoin is a filter.

The people who see Bitcoin as scam or a greater fool scheme are projecting their beliefs onto it. They either don't buy it or they sell "the top".

Bitcoin & Bitcoiners move on without them.

For the first year I thought Bitcoin was a scam. I found it hard to trust that other the Bitcoiners wouldn't sell.

After a year of trying to find where the scam was & gaming out various scenarios, I couldn't find one. The only logical play was to acquire as many bitcoin as possible & to hold them as long as possible. The only thing I had to trust was the ability of other humans to come to the same logical conclusion. Did it have to be all humans? No, it only had to be the 20% who were awake & actively choosing. That's about the point when I went all in.

We each have a responsibilty to hold our bitcoin securely. To avoid a situation where your bitcoin stolen or you're forced to sell it. This is personal responsibility though & not some altruistic bullshit. I don't have to trust that people will act in my best interest, just that they'll act in their own best interest.

It's a bet that humans are sovereign souls & are consciously choosing what they believe & prefer.

I make my bet knowing that if it is wrong, then we as a species are not fit to rule ourselves.
