Last night I finally finished crocheting this romper with a double-headed zipper! I winged it and there was a lot of trial and error involved.
When I started it, it was going to be slightly too big for Sophiaβ¦ now itβs too small π but I have hope there will be another little one for whom it will be just right someday.

If not, donβt be afraid to have someone help you ask nurses to try to turn the baby or help you do motions or positions that could help move him into a better position rather than resort directly to c-section. Even if there arenβt midwives, sometimes nurses know great non-invasive tricks! One saved me from a c-section with a technique even my doula (also a nurse) didnβt even know.
I just hope the breech position doesnβt pose any problems for you.

There are impressions of real wild passionfruit (Passiflora incarnata) leaves on two sides, which have been βpinchedβ in to make holding the cup extra comfy and visually interesting.
I picked the leaves from the patch that grows outside my studio. Iβve checked every fall for years, but never been able to get a ripe fruitβ¦ the animals must always beat me to them!
The leaves and inside were glazed with orange, yellow, and green translucent glazes while most of the outside of the cup was left as bare clay. The cup is food- and dishwasher-safe!
