Juror #2

👀

House of dynamite

Eddington

Oppenheimer

and more than 3 months ago: The Father (Anthony Hopkins with "Joe Biden"-Sickness). It's great. Hence the cheating.

Probably Dune: Part Two. It’s rare to see a movie that big and still so full of soul.

Agree. Incredibly well executed. And the soundscape is out of this world.

Didn't watch much but "What we do in the shadows" was hilarious.

“Peter! Wakey-wakey!”

Shutter Island, I don't watch many movies, but this one I had to re-watch a couple of times

Fantastic movie.

One battle after another.

Watched The Beach again last week, love the soundtrack more than anything.

Not to brag: Nacho Libre

Yes - its a Christmas movie 🎄

Captain Fantastic!

Triangle of Sadness / Everything Everywhere All at Once / Parasite

I don't know why, but I didn't like Everything Everywhere All at Once. Not even a little bit.

same for me. it gave me a mid life crisis

It gave me nothing. I felt it was very empty.

I found it fascinating . Actually think I'm gonna watch it again right now…

I didn't either. It was extremely overhyped, despite me liking many of the individual actors.

Not last 3 month but ‘The Lobster’

Watched it a couple years ago. Very strange movie 😅

True! That is why I liked it :D

If you like strange movies I'd recommend Primer in case you haven't seen it yet. Best time-travel movie ever made imho, and very re-watchable (if you enjoy strange movies, that is).

I'm glad you're on nostr nostr:nprofile1qqsx835qzgms7vf0qaljhwc8pdasj6m70r3v6aepr95mmktzqg56pdcprpmhxue69uhhgetnwsh8yetvv9ujuun9wphhyap0qyvhwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnzv43kkmt909jhytn4wvhsz9mhwden5te0wfjkccte9ec8y6tdv9kzumn9wshslazvwk 🫂

"It helps to have a touch of autism so it's probably a good fit if you're on Nostr."

This is a spoiler but after you watch it, refer to this. It will blow your mind.

Best 🤔 good...KPop Demon Hunters was cute

only correct answer 😆

I was surprised, usually when there's so much hype I don't really like it. I really enjoyed it though 🥰

The Ballad of Wallace Island.

Interesting! Haven't seen that one yet. Thanks!

This one interests me. Without reading too much about it (so as to not spoil it for myself), I think it fits with what I called "big fish out of big water", maybe. I wrote about it last summer: https://peakd.com/hostr/@crrdlx/hostr-longform-a6madudtlsm

I've read this poster as "Brad Pitt: The Movie" and was very confused for a second 😅

Awful branding, good movie 😂

Ya this was a blast to see on the big screen.

Snap!

The running man or Predator Badlands. Others are woke shit

The Running man is also woke and so bad lol, didn't see Predator yet

Kooyanisqatsi. Never gets old. Artistic masterpiece never to be achieved again.

Good, but weird, but good.

I've probably only watched one movie in the last 3 months and it was ELF a couple nights ago. By default it's the best, but it is a great movie and the only way to kick of Christmas season.

Oh, and "The Intouchables". Loved it.

"The Straight Story"

Fantastic movie, and what an incredible story.

Little lame that this is so obvious for me now. Godfather. Over 20 years since last time.

The Substance,The Girl with the Needle,天使のたまご

The series 1883 made me rewatch this:

Troya

Really enjoyed this action movie about Thracians
