This is an unpopular opinion, but I loved Gladiator II and thought it was better than the original

GM Lyn. Top Gun Maverick, clean, positive storyline that leans into American ideals without apology that leaves the viewer happy and optimistic. The timing of when it came out at the end of COVID made it memorable for that reason

The 2022 remake of All Quiet on the Western Front. Absolutely uncut dose of war misery. Will really get across the experience of getting slaughtered like a pig in some muddy hole in Alsace-Lorraine. Cast is all Germans speaking German. 9/10 best antiwar war movie in recent memory.

Not a movie but I truly fell in love with Rings of Power season 2. Have watched multiple times and for some reason it puts me in a very introspective and meditative state but also kinda pumped up about the battle between good and evil. I’m a bit bias though cuz I’ve always loved everything LOTR.
