I really do think I'm deficient in potassium and magnesium. (No, I'm not going to a fiat doctor to get that checked.)

Can anyone recommend a potassium supplement that's not full of crud? No, I don't want to eat a banana since that's off the table until next year at the earliest.

You can't imagine how many different pills (a.k.a. poisons) these criminals have tried to shove down my parents' throats🤬 in the past year.

My parents are still bought in to the whole medical system. Partially necessary, though, but... I hate it. I hate it all.

Same with my parents. Not so much my dad anymore but my mom is mostly terrified to disobey her doctors🙄. Luckily, I'm pretty good at convincing them not to take 10 different medications everyday though. All I have to do most of the time is point out and explain the 80 different side effects that come with each pill.

I think I finally got through to my dad about his sugar addiction... We'll see if he actually does anything about it... 😅

My dad just stopped trusting most of his doctors ever since I began to explain to him all of the awful things that big pharma does to it's customers. Including how big of a role they played in the COVID pandemic.

I can't recommend anything on the potassium, but did the cramp happen after you yawned hard? I have that happen sometimes and I actually sometimes have to push the tightened muscle back up inside my jaw until it relaxes.

Yeah, it's wild! It just happens out of the blue for me. I don't know what causes it. Even when I have enough potassium in my diet, it seems to just happen sometimes. The best thing I can do is to just press my fist against the underside of my chin as I yawn to prevent the muscle from tensing too hard. Or, avoid yawning widely, though that's easier said than done sometimes haha

Yes, they demonstrably do. I have no will power which is how I wound up 125lbs overweight. So... No. I'm not eating leafy greens until after I'm done loosing enough fat to say I'm not fat anymore. yes, milk sugars are very fattening... one solution can be to ferment the milk completely out, 36+ hours... i've just made a batch of yogurt this way and it is definitely less sweet but i think my rig was not ideal at this point, i need to go crank it up, need some more jars and start refining my procedure... i have loads of italian full fat powdered milk, it's a bit tricky to work with though, making the milk fully reconstitute takes time, seems like it needs 24 hours and lots of shaking to get it smooth... the yogurt doesn't ferment as good without the milk being fully dissolved also

Fermented yogurt, like you are suggesting, makes sense, though, I am still reluctant to try it.

most yoghurt is hardly fermented... it gets that gelling up effect within 6 hours, fully fermented yogurt is really sour... not worth wasting your time trying anything that isn't fully fermented

literally could even just leave tubs you buy out in the warm for a couple of days and they'll finish and be better, less fattening

Carnivore here! I got on wholefoods the 2 electrolytes they have without any extra shit. Brands "Ultima" and "vital proteins". They are a little pricy. A friend gets the salts separately and makes its own recipe, but I need to research on that

Pickle juice or olive brine help with my insane cramps in my legs 🤷‍♀️. Not calves, but the outside of my leg from my ankle up the side 😖. Literally wake up middle of the night, slam some water and then drink it straight out of the jar couple sips usually does it.

I love pickles and miss them. I don't have any on hand since I'm doing the carnivore thing, though. Vinegar and salt are delicious (especially salt and vinegar chips... 🤤)

My jam! The kettle cooked, thick sliced ones 🤤. I figure a jar of pickles for the juice is cheaper than designer supplements 🤷‍♀️. But reading through your replies, I'd say you've depleted your electrolytes drinking that much water. We drink a full on full of chemicals but sugar free electrolyte mix because we started drinking tons of water (same as you) and were constantly thirsty and had chapped lips. At work (where I drink most of my water) there are water filtration stations that are a fancy RO system. The water comes out really, really pure. Months and months ago I realized that was not good, so I've been adding mineral supplements to the water. Looking at the label of the brand I'm currently using, there's hardly any potassium in it at all. (it's focused on other minerals) I might switch back to the brand I was using previously. It tasted better, anyway. 😝

What a beautiful experience… once I saw the sceneries, it reminded me of lord of the rings so I put on shire music which helped seriously decrease my stress levels.

Then spend a bit more time here and pay attention to the economic conversations. I've learned quite a bit and I started off with a fairly good base of Austrian economics.

It was beautiful but very hard. But, this year I succeeded. Last year, I did not. I'm not sure I would have made it if not for help and support from nostriches.

Of course, this can't replace local, real life connections, but those can be very hard to build when so many people are just so blind to what is happening. I find nostr to be overall good for me. 😎

Yeah, that was me. I definitely have suspicions about the health care system incentives but I got one for just these kinds of things. It’s hard to access the system for things you want without a primary physician. And the stats on bloodwork etc are still useful, you can find others to interpret etc if there are others you trust more. But you may be able to find a physician that you can work with.

Pork loin, tenderloin, and sirloin. You'll need to consume ALOT of it but I doubt you'll mind.

It's hard for me to find pork that isn't trash-tier stuff.
